The Psychiatric Account Manager is responsible for building relationships with recognized experts, and prioritized stakeholders in the therapeutic area, Community Mental Health Clinics, hospital/institutional systems and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).The successful Psychiatric Account Manager will: - Develop and drive the relationship with target institutions and community accounts, including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key influencers and decision makers within the accounts
- Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment in which the need for collaboration and cross-functional discipline is critical. Cross-functional partners may consist of Account Partners, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations colleagues
- Develop a strong, collaborative partnership with field-based colleagues to ensure the appropriate level of cross-functional support for customers within a defined geography and for developing and executing pull-through strategies.
- Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
- Use data tools and insights, and other informational sources to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
- Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations, etc.). Build relationships in institutions aligned with customer segmentation.
- Plan andorganize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action.
- Deliver clinical brand specific presentations of product(s) to physicians and other appropriate health care professionals.
- Develop deep product and competitor knowledge and understanding of local and regional market trends.
- Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Execute the company brand strategy and tactics within their assigned geographic area.
- Participation in training and developmentprograms.
- Maintain adherence and compliance with all corporate, industry policies and procedures. Requirements
