Book Keeper

This is a great role for someone who thrives on a stable and growing environment! This person should be proficient in full-charge bookkeeping functions for the Firm?s clients for various entities such as dealing with individuals, corporations, LLC?s, foundations and partnerships. This book keeper would help prepare financial reports, have knowledge of tax preparation, posting and reconciling brokerages, and investment accounts and accounting tasks. The responsibilities would also include the reviewing of AP/ and A/R and related reports.



Skills & Experience Required:

? Knowledgeable in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation and prepares client information for use in the preparation of tax returns.

? Understands how to prepare hedge fund and trust documents, and statistical reports; reconciles monthly brokerage statements and investment reports.

? High school diploma, Bachelor?s degree or college-level coursework in accounting preferred.

? 2+ years responsible in accounting and/or bookkeeping experience. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger and financial report.

? Strong computer skills including proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks.
