A company is looking for a SNF Billing Specialist / Consultant.



Key Responsibilities

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SNF reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid
Manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on unpaid balances and timely billing processes
Assist in the preparation of accounts receivable reports and participate in compliance programs


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or business-related field preferred; experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
5 years of billing experience, specifically in SNF Medicare and Medicaid billing
Knowledge of LTC billing regulations for Medicare and Medicaid
Experience using billing software such as PointClickCare or MatrixCare
