Summary: Assist Team Leader in daily operations, lead and develop Team Members, and ensure a positive company image. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain store layout and product merchandising. Work with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets. Assist Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor. Develop and maintain product knowledge and awareness of new products. Maintain good vendor relationships and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted. Work with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues. Function as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of Team Leader. Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution. Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale. Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs and direct Team Members to satisfy and delight customers. Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members. Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
