Empower Yourself.The Planning Consultant engages Empower's customers in personalized consultations to expand relationships and deliver delightful experiences. This individual develops a deep understanding of Empower's services and quickly matches appropriate services to customer needs. The successful consultant is a motivated self-starter with a deep desire to help people and build a career in financial services. Responsibilities include both inbound and outbound phone calls, and those that thrive in fast-paced environments with flexible daily activities are most successful.What you will do - Develop relationships with clients through proactive outreach and helpful experiences
- Interact and help customers who are past onboarding to deepen relationships and encourage interaction with our advisors and planners
- Partner with planners and advisors through referrals to ensure that we deliver meaningfully differentiated experiences based on customer needs
- Manage a queue of outbound tasks to engage clients around their available financial planning options, help with immediate needs, and set the next step for their interactions with Empower
- Handle inbound calls as needed to orient customers to Empower and help with best interest advice calls in times of high volumes
- Use online planning tools and conversation guides to enhance conversations and experiences
- Meet monthly performance expectations and implement coaching to achieve goalsWhat you will bring
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work
- FINRA S 7 & 63 registrations required within corporate-established timelines
- FINRA fingerprinting requiredWhat will set you apart
- Demonstrated success in performance roles or other similar experience
- Experience managing multiple priorities and ability to handle stressful situations and customer interactions consistently
- Consultative skills to understand needs and present customer-focused solutions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to learn new technology systems
