We are seeking a QA Director for our client near Deland, FL. Successful candidates with have experience at a director or senior manager level with (recent) experience within high-volume/low-cost manufacturing environments.



?Provides Quality support to manufacturing, engineering, and support operations through the administration, collection, analysis of data, and the industry standards associated with each product line.

?Plans, assigns, and adjusts work priorities to meet daily, weekly, monthly customer sales order requirements.

?Monitors and manages employee job performance such as attendance, quality, and productivity.

?Ensures that all Quality employees are properly trained and cross-trained as required.

?Prepares reports and makes presentations as required.

?Holds and attends meetings as required. Host biweekly Quality Metrics meeting.

?Performs audits to ensure consistent and continued compliance with all processes and procedures.

?Encourages, participates, and leads in continuous improvement activities such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

?Manages the QIR, MRB, and RMA process.

?Primary interface with customer quality assurance representatives, internal/external quality system auditors, and internal functions requiring Quality support.

?Maintains the appropriate quality manual, which includes the initiation, review, and revision of OIs and CSOPs.

?Manages the technical training required for IPC, J-STD-001, AF7209, and customer specific requirements.

?Coordinates with the New Product Introduction function to ensure the production intent activities allow for a smooth transition to sustaining production activities.

?Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized.
