Job SummaryMedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.Job Responsibilities - Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans, using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary, to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed to optimize image quality.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media, as required.
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans and assist with interventional CT procedures.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions, such as charging procedures and supplies.
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.Requirements
- Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
- Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
- Most states require licensure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits
