It's time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor to oversee the second shift production teams, including Kitting, Wide Format, and Print on Demand.Your Shift: - Friday - Sunday; 12 hour shiftYour Responsibilities:
- Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for all all daily print requirements and projects that are due for each day
- Nightly updates on the progress of areas of production
- Report all issues and delays (Email) directly to the Production Manager and the CSR responsible for the account. This will ensure all communication is documented
- Production TOS Boards - review Audit schedule, cleaning schedule, monthly A4, Updated metrics
- Ensure all print devices are passing G7 color management standards at the beginning of each shift
- All production departments will be clean and put back in order at the end of each shift
- Attend afternoon production meeting
- Review all upcoming projects and be proactive in communications with all concerns and actions that need to be followed up on
- All large digital orders must have first sheet sign off in order to start the projectYou Must Have:
- Ability to read, interpret, and decipher general written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job specific written documents
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Prior leadership experience
- Digital print experience
- Understanding of color substrateWe Would Also Prefer:
