A company is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Director to oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities

Establish and drive clinical laboratory strategy while ensuring adherence to CLIA and CAP regulatory requirements
Lead process improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity within laboratory operations
Consult and approve standard operating procedures for diagnostic testing and ensure compliance with state and local regulations



Required Qualifications and Education

Doctoral Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution
Current certification as Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist or appropriate categorical certification
5+ years post-certification experience reviewing and signing out clinical test reports
Strong leadership experience in a matrix or cross-functional environment
