A company is looking for a Claims Support Coordinator to facilitate communication between plan members, providers, and health insurance companies regarding claims issues.



Key Responsibilities

Provide effective and timely customer service for members and providers regarding health care claims
Negotiate with providers and challenge denials of claims by the insurance company
Analyze member billing complaints and collaborate with peers and management to resolve issues


Required Qualifications

1+ years of claims experience within hospital or large provider groups
2+ years of Healthcare Collections and Accounts Receivable experience
Medical billing/coding certification (CPC) beneficial, but not required
College degree preferred; additional experience may substitute for education
