The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and general liability cases. You will represent insurance companies and their insured clients in litigation, striving for favorable outcomes and providing excellent legal counsel.Key Responsibilities: - Represent insurance companies in defense of personal injury, property damage, and general liability claims.
- Manage a caseload from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation and post-litigation matters.
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Negotiate settlements and manage trial preparation.
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
- Keep accurate and timely records of case progress and developments.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation practice.
- Proven experience in handling personal injury, property damage, or general liability cases.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
