PeopleSoft Financials Developer - Alpharetta Georgia

Adecco is looking to fill a PeopleSoft Financial Developer contract role with a large client based in Alpharetta, GA. This contract is expected to last approximately 2-3 months. Job description and requirements below:

Primary Role - Daily support of application that is being migrated to SAP. No upgrades or major development. Small projects and production support.



Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance and accounting. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Works with Business Analysts to develop solutions for users. Migrates changes from database to database. Monitors Production Environment. Analyzes production support issues and determines resolution. Routine System Admin tasks. Applying Monthly patches from third party tax company

Requirements

Education: 4 year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent years of experience

Experience: 8+ years of experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems

Knowledge/Skills: Specialized knowledge of software, documentation, utilities and program scripts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with a group. Mature person able to perform tasks with little direction.

Must have experience with: PeopleSoft 8.8., PeopleTools 8.46, Using Oracle Database, Taxware, CyberSource
