Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Lab/Electrophysiology RN Location : Augusta, GA 30901 Duration : 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract) Start Date: August 2024 Shift Schedule: 7.30AM - 4.00 PM (Monday - Friday) Responsibilities : Cath Lab Unit Nurses will be accountable clinically for ensuring nursing care complies with accepted standards of care and clinical practice. Assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care in the Cath Lab Unit setting where life-threatening disease or injury requires close monitoring and at times, quick intervention. Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Cath Lab (adult and geriatric). Insertion of peripheral lines, Collection of blood samples by venipuncture, central lines and swan Ganz catheters. Drawing of arterial blood from existing lines, Hemodynamic Monitoring Qualification : Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in related field or a master's degree in Nursing or in related field is highly preferred License : Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA Certifications : BLS, ACLS (Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) - Preferred) Experience : Minimum 3 years prior experience in an intensive care setting to include Critical Care/Cath Lab experience.
