A company is looking for a Paralegal Specialist V to support the Public Safety Officers' Benefits Office at the Bureau of Justice Assistance.



Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of case files for claims under the Public Safety Officers' Benefits Program
Provide paralegal support for appeals, including drafting and organizing legal documents
Research and analyze laws and regulations related to PSOB benefits to support claims processing


Required Qualifications

Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (legal emphasis preferred)
At least eight years of paralegal experience, with five years in benefits/claims
