If you're ready to start learning, growing, and making an impact with a career in fintech, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?About the TeamThe Mutual Funds team sets up and maintains new mutual fund accounts, reconciles and posts mutual fund trades, as well as ensures all client instructions from the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) are received in good order to allow for timely settlement.What You Will Be Doing - Process automated trades through the NSCC and ensure all manual trades are processed correctly, proactively identifying exceptions that may cause issues with settlement.
- Initiate wires for daily net settlement, monitor large wires, and make appropriate entries to internal accounts.
- Identify and log failed trades, as well as manage trade rejects to ensure price-protection and resolution with mutual fund companies.
- Post trades and match broker confirms to trade ticket on trust accounting system.
- Process all DTCC confirm and affirm files based on established schedule.
- Review, monitor, and clear accounts for exceptions, share reconciliation, and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Monitor all workflows, request queues within SLA standards, and generate trade advices for mailing/emailing to clients.What You Bring
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Typically, at least 5 years' experience in capital markets or asset management, preferably in supporting mutual funds.
- Working knowledge of DTCC, NSCC, financial reconciliations, trade settlements, and trust systems (preferably Addvantage, FundLinx).
- Strong problem-solving, time management, organizational, and data entry skills.
