Account Director - Business Development [South Central & West US Regions]Hotel: Corp Atlanta Ravinia, Three Ravinia Drive, Suite 100, 30346The Account Director - Business Development is primarily responsible for strategically identifying, developing, and managing new business and sales opportunities for IHG brands. A significant portion of this role will be to uncover new accounts within the defined territory that can drive additional revenue opportunities to IHG hotels around the globe that would be identified for a future Managed IHG account.Your day to day - Actively seek and develop new business opportunities of accounts to maximize market share and revenues;
- Business Development to uncover new accounts in territory that drive additional valuable revenue opportunities.
- Assess accounts and their opportunities, as a result create account plans as per the IHG template and execute strategies and tactics to drive revenue and market share.
- Network within the accounts to find those key decision makers, their support staff, and other relationship opportunities.
- Gather information on current and prospective clients/contacts to generate incremental business.
- Work with the appropriate Hotels to ensure clear communication of expectations and goals. For each account, as appropriate, develop a network of support at key hotels ensuring close working relationships with hotel management and sales staff.What we need from you
