If you're ready to start learning, growing and making an impact with a career in fintech, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?About the role: As a Senior Sales Executive on the Payments Team, you'll be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals helping large fintech issuers and acquirers advance their payments infrastructure and card issuing capabilities. By providing industry-leading solutions credit and debit processing, real-time payments, and prepaid processing, you'll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests.What you will be doing: - Builds a client and prospective client network through thought leadership and knowledge gained through years in the payments industry.
- Sells products and/or services and develops new account relationships.
- Solicits and maintains network of prospects.
- Initiates contact with prospective customers to sell targeted FIS products and/or services.
- Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts.
- Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets and competitive intelligence.
- Prepares and presents proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources and tools.
- Negotiates, structures and closes "deals" that meet customer expectations and FIS's ability to deliver; utilizes appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.
- Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies.
- Meets sales goals and objectives.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.What you will need:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the payments industry, with strong preference for those that have worked with the large payments networks and processing companies.
- Good understanding of FIS products and services
- Experience working with complex sales management systems like Salesforce or Dynamics. Understands the importance of good pipeline hygiene and focus on the numbers.
- General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
- Experience working for or with the following fintech segments: neobanks, modern lenders, wallets, and modern card issuers.
- Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technically astute and able to talk to the technology and integration capabilities of complex products and solutions.--
- Requires solid leadership, decision-making, and problem solving skills
- Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
- Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
- Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred
- Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public
- Travel is requiredAdded bonus if you have:
