Key Responsibilities

Assigns appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes and modifiers to outpatient surgery accounts
Abstracts and enters coded data for hospital statistical and reporting requirements
Queries physicians to clarify conflicting or incomplete clinical information

Required Qualifications

Must possess an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
