A company is looking for a Lead Actuary focusing on Commercial Lines and Emerging Lines of business.



Key Responsibilities:

Develop, refine, and maintain pricing models for commercial lines, ensuring accuracy and market alignment
Conduct segmentation reviews to enhance program competitiveness and optimize pricing structures
Perform experience studies to project loss ratios and adjust rates based on historical data and trends


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; actuarial designation (ACAS or equivalent) required
5+ years of actuarial experience in commercial insurance, particularly in pricing for Umbrella and Commercial Habitational lines
Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., SAS, R, Excel, SQL) and pricing tools
In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance lines, including underwriting and regulatory processes
