What You'll Do The Category Manager-Mobile Equipment is responsible for developing, implementing, continuous improvement, communicating, and executing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for major/critical spend categories such as heavy equipment, construction equipment, tires, oils & lubes, to name a few. Responsibilities: Work cross-functionally and align business partners (internal and external) to accomplish objectives and achieve organizational goals. Apply strategic sourcing and continuous improvement principles to sub-categories in the mobile equipment categories, supporting the Mobile Strategic Sourcing Manager. Leverage heavy industry category and supplier knowledge to identify new opportunities. Standardize and optimize processes where possible, identify and present observations and recommendations for improvements to leadership. Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure programs align with business requirements and are achieving desired impacts. Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
