About This Role: We are looking for a Process Quality Engineer to support our manufacturing facility in Athens, GA. You will be responsible for the overall process quality for a product from our facility, with a focus on product & process reliability. The PQE partners with Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing functions to continuously improve the performance of product and processes. Key Responsibilities: - You will be responsible for assuring that the manufacturing process output quality level continues to have year over year improvement of CE PPM, FPY, SCRAP metrics.
- Conducts Process and internal ISO audits.
- Daily plant manufacturing support for defect resolution, run test related failures and the management of non-conforming material.
- Investigates and escalates supplier-related manufacturing issues working closely with Supplier Quality Engineering counterparts.
- Lead cross functional team for improvement projects regarding product first pass yield, assembly turn backs and field claims.
- Be involved in addressing field complaints working.
- Responsible for monthly reporting duties.
- Observe and implement product and process quality improvements.
- Other Duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing
