This role involves practicing in a clinical environment that is supported through a shared governance model. The framework for practice is guided by a professional practice model and evidence-based practice. RN competencies are derived from these models and are supported by professional values. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by professional standards. As a member of the patient services team, the individual must uphold the voice of the patient and support service excellence goals. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, providing relationship-based patient-centered care, and practicing using current clinical standards.
