A company is looking for a Fiber Network Inventory Specialist (FNIS).



Key Responsibilities:

Recover and interpret civil engineering prints to build fiber assets into GIS inventory systems
Assist with data cleanup and quality control in fiber inventory systems
Manage network inventory through database tracking of fiber optic cable and related data


Required Qualifications:

Degree or background in engineering, GIS, Telecom, or related field preferred
Interest in telecommunications and fiber optics
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Visio and MS Excel
Experience with GE Smallworld or other fiber inventory systems is preferred More...
