A company is looking for a Manager (Staff Scientist), Packaging and Food Contact.



Key Responsibilities

Oversee the notifications process of new food contact substances according to global regulatory requirements
Author food contact notifications or petitions for submission to global regulatory authorities
Develop regulatory strategies for compliance and manage food contact notification projects from initiation to completion


Required Qualifications

Advanced Degree - PhD or MS in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Polymer Science
Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging and global food contact regulations preferred
Understanding of global food contact regulations and FDA No Objection Letter Submission Processes preferred
Experience within the Packaging Industry or relevant trade organizations is beneficial
Experience interpreting analytical chemistry data and communicating with analytical testing laboratories More...
