A company is looking for a Coding Manager responsible for overseeing inpatient and outpatient coding and data abstraction functions for hospital clients.



Key Responsibilities

Manage client setup, monitor coder accuracy rates, and report performance metrics to clients
Supervise and train Coding Advocate, Coding Provider, and Coding Lead employees, ensuring quality and productivity
Recruit, orient, and evaluate staff, maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and organizational policies


Required Qualifications

4-year degree or equivalent health information leadership experience; AHIMA certification required
Experience in coding or managing coding services in a hospital or vendor environment
3+ years of HIM management experience preferred
In-depth understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding rules and regulations
