The Estimator/Planner works closely with all departments to identify the amount of material and manpower needed to perform ship repair availabilities. Senior Estimator/Planner Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and technical proposals
• Ability to read detailed drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
• Engage in collaborative estimating process and bid reviews
• Attend ship checks
• Participate in business development Senior Estimator/Planner Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or Bachelor of Science preferred
  • 7 years of professional experience, preferably in marine or industrial industry
  • Must have shipyard experience
  • Knowledge of Navy ships is essential
  • Former Navy military personnel highly beneficial
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Credential
  • All candidates must pass a post-offer drug screening and background check
  • Valid State of Hawaii drivers' license in good standing
  • Candidates must have access to reliable transportation
