Job Details - This nursing position is for Central Telemetry Monitoring at Boise Hospital Flr 3.
- Patient Ratios: Have 1 tech that watches an average of 50 patients. Patients will be on multiple floors.
- Job Duties: Monitoring cardiac rhythms, recognizing rhythms with potential to alter patients physiology- obtain ECG strip, and immediately report all arrhythmias to responsible provider, maintains alarms to protocol and appropriately responds to alarms, saving appropriate alarms to chart.
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? The individual will report to their manager but a charge nurse is always available for support.
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 1-2 shifts.
Job Requirements - No certification required, tele cert preferred.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: at least 1 year of tele monitoring experience, prefer 2 years.
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
Schedule Information - Shifts & Scheduling: 7p-730a, will fill in where there is a need.
- Weekend Requirements: will work if there is a need based on staffing.
- Holiday Requirements: will be in holiday rotation.
- Floating Requirements: may potentially float Meridian or Boise Central Plaza- Virtual Care Center.
Unit Specific Information - Unit: Tele Monitoring Tech.
- There may be an opportunity to pick up extra shifts: 7a-730p, weekends and holidays as needed with potential to float to Meridian or Boise Central Plaza Virtual Care Center.
