QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required, emphasis in healthcare or business related field preferred. Certification as a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) or equivalent required. At least 5 years of experience in a HIPAA compliance related role required. Advanced knowledge in information privacy law (e.g. HIPAA, HITECH and others), access, release of information, and release control technologies required. Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication and presentation skills required. Experience with vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, contingency planning and auditing required. Experience in policy writing and breach investigations required. ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
