Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Security Analyst - Position type: Fulltime Location: Chubbuck Idaho Senior Information Security Analyst specializing in Cyber Engineering and Operations. This role will focus on developing cyber detection techniques, maintaining, tuning, and optimizing cyber and physical security systems, and executing cyber threat hunts and incident response. While we welcome qualified applicants at all levels of experience for this role, preference will be given for those candidates with: - At least 3+ years' experience in Information Security or equivalent experience in roles with significant information security assignments and functions.
- At least 2+ years' experience in cyber systems engineering, threat hunting, and incident response.
- A strong understanding of modern AI, ML, and SOAR capabilities as they pertain to cyber and peripheral systems.
- Certifications such as Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), EC Council Certified Forensics Investigator, CISSP, or similar certifications in network, systems, or applications security.
- Responsibilities
- The area of responsibility for the Senior Information Security Analyst is to maintain and improve the security posture. The Senior Information Security Analyst position is responsible to:
- Help ensure that the company is secure through the development and implementation of best practices.
- Provide information security thought leadership and risk-based security requirements.
- Assess and oversee the technical and cyber controls set forth by the company's Security Program.Other Key Responsibilities
- Work with IT Management to develop and update the Security Program, including relevant policies and procedures.
- Execute threat hunts, incident response, and other operational activities purposed with ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of -information and information systems.
- Have oversight and ownership of cyber engineering and operations within key security systems.
- Conduct and oversee the administration, configuration, and engineering of cyber systems including SIEM, EDR, surveillance, access, and partner services. -
- Develop custom detections and alerts using advanced query and search techniques.
- Leverage industry frameworks such as the Mitre Attack Framework to optimize threat detection, response, and containment.
- Conduct internal penetration and control testing and liaise with external penetration testing organizations, including the documentation, inter-team coordination, and tracking of findings related to control tests.
- Other duties as assigned.Information Security Analyst A qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems or engineering/math field of study.
- Additionally, a master's degree or equivalent experience is required in computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer Security or Software Development. CISSP Certified, SANS GSEC Certification, or equivalent is required.
- 5-7 Years of work experience in the Information Security field.
- Ability to communicate with Executive Management, personnel and communicate effectively through customized reports. Ability to always maintain confidentiality of the member records. Performance Standard A demonstrated ability to solve complex problems. Ability to research, understand and report on high level security issues.
- Attention to detail on many concurrent projects and initiatives.
- A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other -staff.
- Ability to work without supervision and lead in key areas of the information security program.
- Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by the Company Additional Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work all hours of the day onsite and remote.
- Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
