  Job Details
  • Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies.
  • Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images electronically.
  • Performs a variety of tasks under general supervision; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager; performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field; regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned.
    Job Requirements
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school in Radiologic Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 2 years' related experience in imaging in a hospital setting.
    • ARRT registration in Radiography required.
    • MRI registry required.
    • BLS - AHA required.
