Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records and assist the President/CEO administratively as needed. A keen interest in understanding the bigger financial picture, coupled with the ability to manage confidential information with integrity, is essential. • Track and resolve all day-to-day business associates to assist their needs
• Scheduling of multiple meetings, teleconferences, travel arrangements
• Collecting and analyzing information for reports and financial reporting
• Coordinate and process documents for all real estate transactions
• Assist with other duties as assigned.Accounting for multiple companies:
  • Manage payroll and compliance of federal and state rules
  • Cash Management and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Track tax payments and returns
  • Prepare and track accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Prepare journal entries and categorize records in the general ledger
  • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
  • Coordinate transfer and wiring of funds
  • Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate renewal of insurance policies and timely payments
  • Work closely with Controller to conduct month-end and year-end closures
  • Prepare documents for audits
  • Apply new accounting policies as approved by the Controller
  • Track and resolve all day-to-day issues
  • Coordinate and distribute issues for CPA and attorney
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President.Other Details:
    • Role is temp-to-hire
    • Schedule is Monday Friday, 8am 5pm
