TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83404 Pay Information $2,470 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous PICU experience - Trauma and burn experience preferred - Experience with ventilators, high flow, chest tubes, IV placement - Experience with central lines, urinary catheter placement, NG placement, trach care Job Description: - Work in a 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Perform procedures such as sedation, set up for ART lines, and chest tubes - Ensure proper patient ratios: 1:2, sometimes 1:3 for step-down or pediatric patients - Use equipment such as ventilators, central lines, art lines, and Alaris pumps - Document patient care using the Meditech system - Schedule shifts one month in advance and comply with a 50% weekend requirement based on needs - Float to other units if PICU census is low Additional Information: - Dress code requires navy blue scrubs, with the option for a pediatric-friendly top - Work independently as no CNAs or Unit Secretaries are available - Strong patient experience skills are desired 26769868EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
