We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join an efficient auto service center team! Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. Responsibilities:

--- Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction
--- Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics

--- Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
--- Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach
--- Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle's integrated computer system


Qualifications:

--- Possess a high school diploma or GED
--- Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
--- Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
--- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
