Kinzie Chophouse, a distinguished dining establishment since 1991, is searching for a skilled sous chef to join our expanding team as we open our new location. Expectations:You will lead the culinary team by example to create the atmosphere and culture we want to present to our guests. You must be reliable, organized, and ready to help us reach our goals Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production.
• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation with a Mediterranean twist.
• Coordinate and execute menu development for our new casual concept.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to source premium ingredients and manage inventory.
• Handle kitchen scheduling, ordering, and budgeting with efficiency.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and timely meal preparation. Requirements:
  • Experience Required: Extensive experience in a similar role, particularly in opening new restaurant locations. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Desired Traits: Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a creative approach to menu development. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications Needed: ServSafe Certification.
