Key Responsibilities

Review accounts and apply billing follow-up knowledge to ensure proper reimbursement from insurance payors
Communicate with internal teams and external customers to resolve outstanding claims and validate information
Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities and comply with departmental policies and performance standards


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Typically requires 1 year of related experience in a medical/billing reimbursement environment
Basic keyboarding proficiency and ability to operate computer and software systems
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) preferred but not required
