Description:The Finance - Operations Analyst will be responsible for interacting with operations and finance to ensure production planning, financial accuracy of manufacturing costs and manage cash flow expectation. This is a very dynamic position and requires a proactive, performance-driven professional with experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and experience in project management & demand planning. Keen understanding of business priorities, understanding of supply contracts and managing and aligning manufacturing operations to ensure timely supply of customer orders. This position will be responsible for the development of e processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance revenue performance, successful completion of projects and ensure costs are within budget.
This candidate must have strong analytical skills, function well in a fast- paced environment and be able to manage numerous projects at once, including multi-component/large scale programs. Must work quickly and accurately with in-depth costing and forecasting scenarios and understand supply chain management.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork directly with Operations leaders to plan manufacturing activities, execute and timely fulfill customer orders as we expand to global markets. Manage resources and coordinate efforts of team members in order to deliver products according to plan, contractual obligations and Company goals. Identify and effectively communicate, and resolve production issues, constraints and risks. Prepare plan vs actual updates to management, including any risks or delays with solutions. Take positive action and accountability for assigned work and alignment across the organization.

  • In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for providing continuous support to the Operations, Finance and Executive teams by being the point of contact for day-to-day internal information sharing and problem solving and troubleshooting. Identify and resolve project issues and risks.
  • Responsible for maintaining bills of materials within ERP system, data entry of daily operational activity including issuance of materials, consumption and completion of batches.
  • Prepare demand plans to align manufacturing and procurement with customer orders. Ensure company can meet customer needs and advise management of constraints on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for managing the various third-party customer orders and accept or revise quantities as appropriate.
  • Assist in project planning, reporting, follow up and effective internal and external communication across all departments, vendors and customers.
  • Function as the point of contact for all manufacturing operations among internal colleagues
  • Working cross functionally with logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, procurement and finance, as well as outside vendors and customers, to create excellent service and partnership.
  • Maintain rapport and be a trusted, consulted team member regarding all communication.
  • Report to the management team, monthly the successful execution of batches from initiation to closure, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timeline, and budget.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships internally, to facilitate success and alignment with business goals.
  • Ability to handle fast paced environment and work well under pressure and autonomously.
  • Adhoc reports as requested by Operations and/or Finance as the operations may demandRequirements:
    • Bachelors or advanced degree in business management or related, with a minimum of 3 -5 years experience with project management a plus.
    • Preferred proficiency with ERP systems, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Accounting modules, along with working cross-functionally and maintaining project organization within an automated system.
    • Prior experience in Pharmaceutical industry a must.
    • Strong understanding of drug product manufacturing and commercialization. Biologics experience a plus.
    • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in multitasking projects of varying complexity.
    • Excellent team and collaboration skills a must
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft office, project management techniques, practices and principles.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Complies with all company policies and procedures
      Work Environment & Physical DemandsGeneral work environment and physical demands as required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Some travel may be involved.
