A company is looking for an R&D Engineer II - Optics to contribute to optical simulation software development.



Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and develop optical modeling software modules and subsystems
Perform optics solver verification, release testing, and provide beta support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address market requirements and enhance product offerings


Required Qualifications and Education

BS in Optical Sciences, Engineering, Physics, or related field with 2 years of experience or MS
2+ years of experience in optical system design using commercial ray tracing software
Working experience with programming in C++, C#, MATLAB, Python, or similar
Experience in software development is a plus
