GENERAL FUNCTION: Cultivate external relationships in the assessment area that contribute to Affiliate CRA performance and business objectives, including brand identification. Collaborate across all banking lines to deliver community development initiatives and CRA related business development strategies. Implement community development initiatives. Identify and implement opportunities, strategies and initiatives that drive CRA performance and business results. Assist the Affiliate CRA Manager with CRA assessments by performing rudimentary to intermediate analysis of community development investment and/or service test performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and maintain strong community partnerships to ensure effective execution of community development activities.
* Implement/manage assigned community development initiatives that align with Affiliate''s CRA and business objectives, includes remitting accurate performance activities to Bancorp.
* Assist in the formation of community development strategies and initiatives to increase lending, investment and service test performance.
* Refer CRA related business opportunities (loans and deposits) to LOBs.
* Implement activities associated with AffiliateÆs CDS goals and annual community service plan, including CDS required reporting both for Traditional and Flagship initiatives.
* Work with internal business partners to ensure engagement of Affiliate associates in CDI and CDS/community outreach initiatives, includes associated correspondence, training, employee recognition programs and newsletters.
* Coordinate multi-cultural events/activities as assigned.
* Coordinate AffiliateÆs participation in external community development related events/activities.
* Collaborate with LOB partners in implementing qualified CDS financial education and business development events/activities.
* Participate in join calling efforts with LOB associates as determined by Affiliate CRA Manager.
* Participate in CRA performance assessment/analysis, includes meetings with LOB leadership and preparing rudimentary to intermediate written assessment results.
* Represent the bank in the assessment area, includes serving on Boards and committees that qualify for CDS credit as well as attend highly visible community events related to CRA/community development.
* Participate in Bancorp CRA/compliance training.
