A company is looking for a Safety Engineer to oversee system safety engineering activities within the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems.



Key Responsibilities

Perform risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies
Maintain continuous surveillance over systems and assist with corrective actions
Prepare and track formal risk acceptance documentation and system safety certifications


Required Qualifications

Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or general Engineering
Master's degree may substitute for one year of general experience
