Our ideal candidate will be confident running diagnostics equipment to identify and complete automotive repairs to electrical and software systems. Responsibilities:

--- Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics

--- Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle's integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
--- Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
--- Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
--- Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach


Qualifications:

--- Possess a high school diploma or GED
--- Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
--- ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
--- Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
