SummaryEmergency Technician-17 bed unit. Steppingstone into nursing field, so basic healthcare exposure helpful as you will be handling vitals, EKG, splinting, ADLs, help to bathroom, transport patients, behavioral health sitter, etc. in a high volume environment. The leader likes to grow their own within the department, very hands on, hospital located on crossroads of 2 major interstates so you will see a lot of trauma/high acuity patientsPart-Time Night Shift (2x12 7:00pm-7:00am). Every other weekend rotation, holiday rotation, no call. Greets, assists, and directs patients and visitors and monitors activity to establish a friendly caring environment.
