A company is looking for a Staff Operations Engineer - Ceph Storage to support their storage team in the Cloud Platform division.



Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and operate a highly scalable and resilient storage layer
Develop and maintain automation for logging, monitoring, and maintenance of the storage layer
Participate in complex security system designs and mentor junior teammates



Required Qualifications:

Experience with building and maintaining open-source distributed storage solutions such as Ceph
Experience with storage orchestrators like Rook in a highly automated environment
Familiarity with IaC and configuration management tools such as Salt, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
Experience with storage level replication technologies
