CDH Medical Care Center (4 A/B/C)

• 72 bed unit serving adult general medical and medical oncology patients
• Patient population includes young adults (age 18) to geriatric.
• Adult medical: The majority of patients are admitted with gastrointestinal disorders and heart or lung conditions ranging from acute episodes to chronic. Others diagnoses include; uncontrolled metabolic disorders, infectious processes, skin integrity disorders, neurological and circulatory impairment, as well as secondary conditions such as kidney disease or diabetes Watch this video for more information

  Qualifications
  
  Required:
  • Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation
  • Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
  • CPR - Basic Life Support
  • Physical Demands Requirement:
    • Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 pounds
