About the role Reporting to the Corporate Group Tax Manager and supporting the greater global business, this role will be the primary contact person for all federal, state and municipal tax matters and for managing all aspects of US taxes for all Codan Divisions and their entities in the United States. Core elements will include: Manage and provide oversight over the US tax compliance obligations for all Codan group entities Assisting Corporate Group Tax Manager with US tax advice for acquisitions and disposals of entities and assets Assisting the Corporate Group Tax Manager with transfer pricing advice and calculations Liaise with US tax authorities and assist with managing tax reviews and audits Provide timely and accurate US tax advice and support to business managers and finance teams on tax matters including Income tax, sales and Use Tax, Withholding Tax, Research and Development incentives Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations Manage relationship with tax software providers Develop and maintain local tax procedure documentation, controls & policies, including partnering with relevant Business Unit Leaders to ensure effective integration About You To be successful in your application for this newly created position, you will have demonstrated experience within a similar Tax Management environment and have a high-level understanding of aligned tax software principles and data management within a complex multi business corporate structure. You will also possess high level organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, that will facilitate positive business outcomes for all internal and external stakeholders and will have aligned supporting qualifications and accreditations. Although not considered essential, experience within a manufacturing, communications or technical engineering environment would be highly regarded as would experience in a multinational professional services organization or a large corporate business structure environment.
