You will be responsible for managing a book of business, overseeing client relationships, and delivering tax and accounting advice and solutions through strategic discussions with the client's senior and executive leadership teams while ensuring accurate and timely tax preparation. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and client service skills. Responsibilities: -
Client Management & Relationships - Build and maintain positive relationships with a book of 50+ monthly and annual clients (average MRB $30k) with the support of a Junior Manager and Staff Accounting team.
- Regularly communicate and educate clients on their financial health and tax obligations.
- Ensure clients receive prompt responses to inquiries
- Develop a thorough understanding of your client's accounting processes.

Tax Advisory, Consulting & Compliance - Act as the forward-thinking advisors to your clients ensuring they are up to speed on all current and possible tax laws that impact their overall financial picture both professionally and personally.
- Manage the preparation, review, and filing of 1065, 1120S and 1040 income tax returns.
- Through our proactive client interactions, our goal is to complete 80% of tax work by the 4/15 deadline, while maintaining a health work-life balance of less than 48-50 hours during the tax season
- Conduct thorough tax research and maintain knowledge of relevant IRS codes and regulations.

Team Leadership & Development - Mentor and train a Junior Manager and Staff Accountant(s) in technical skills, client communication, and project management.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Allocate assignments strategically, considering staff development opportunities.

Practice Development & Business Growth - Identify opportunities to expand services offered to existing clients.
- Contribute to setting and achieving departmental and firm goals.
- Participate in industry conferences and training to stay current on best practices
