We are Invenergy.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewAs the Contracts Associate, Project Controls, you will be responsible for supporting RFP releases and EPC contracting for onshore renewable projects (Solar, Battery Storage, Wind). The role will ensure Project Controls processes and systems are being followed in accordance with our standard operating procedures. Additionally, it may require new process development and implementation within the Construction business. The Contracts Associate role will be heavily focused on information integrity within our construction project management system and ensuring processes within the system are following company standards.Responsibilities - Organize, update and manage library of contract templates and master service agreements by type including agreements for consultants, suppliers and contractors.
- Support drafting, review, and legal review/approval for all construction service orders on projects.
- Ensure consistency of terms and conditions across contracts with different parties and similar scopes (e.g. LD amounts, insurance terms, Force Majeure, liability limits, retainage %) and highlight differences where they occur.
- Support coordinating with finance/procurement/origination to run project sensitivities and extrapolate price point for bid proposal.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study. Legal Degree/experience preferred.
- 3+ years Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contracting experience.
- 3+ years Experience with Procurement/Bidding Software.
- 2+ years experience in renewable energy or other energy plants construction contracting.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Skills
