  • Lead collaboration among medical teams to foster a patient-focused, team-oriented environment.
  • Design and implement patient care programs, policies, and procedures to address nursing needs effectively.
  • Represent nursing on various committees, including the Governing Body and Quality Council.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within your teams.
  • Guide the hospital in fulfilling its mission by motivating staff, measuring outcomes, and celebrating achievements.
  • Ensure compliance with standards from Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations.
  • Utilize staffing metrics to adjust and optimize staff levels based on patient needs. Qualifications You Will Need
    • Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
    • BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
    • Commitment to obtaining CRRN certification within a year of eligibility.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field; higher degree if required by state law.
    • Minimum of five years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
    • Advanced degree or plans for further education, along with required experience.
    • At least two years of recent nursing management experience, with 24-hour accountability and oversight responsibilities.
