Prior experience with various age groups is preferred.If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.Purpose:To provide diagnostic Computed Tomography Services to inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients under the direction of the supervising radiologist in accordance with established operating procedures and clinical protocols. To provide safe, prompt, efficient, and cost effective CT Services.Accountabilities:Performs CT scans and reformations according to established clinical protocols, guidelines and department operating proceduresAccountable for obtaining pertinent patient history to provide the radiologist with adequate information for exam interpretation and to ensure procedural criteria is met.Accountable for documentation of all patient information on appropriate forms for department records related to preservation of patient records, patient statistics, billing information and suppliesAccountable for being compliant with established Accrediting Organization, IEMA and department safety safety standards toAdvocate Aurora Health Job ID #R126027.
