The Impact You'll Make: - Lead a team of 5-8 engineers, cultivating a collaborative, psychologically safe environment where folks are motivated.
- Lead your teams to ship software with high quality, being mindful of maintainability, testability, security, performance, and monitoring.
- Lead the strategic and day-to-day engineering workload management of the teams, partnering with Product Management to prioritize both tactically and strategically.
- Be responsible for the hiring, mentoring, career development, and organizational needs of your teams.
- Build effective relationships across the organization with stakeholders, building both context and buy-in.
- Use Agile methodologies to manage and deliver the teams' OKRs.
- Work with other engineering leads on the design of the future state of our platform and organization.
What You Should Have: - 3+ years building and leading high-impact teams and 5+ years hands-on, full-stack software product development experience.
- Proven delivery track record and ability to work against multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to transform teams and systems in support of scaling needs.
- Seasoned technical leader with a propensity for improving quality, observability, and security.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and drive technical decisions forward.
- Proficiency in working with distributed systems and at least some of the elements of our technology stack.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 - $240,000 + bonus (for certain roles) + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
