This individual is fundamentally skilled as a logical thinker and problem solver. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: Performing preventive maintenance inspections Installation support Testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance on specialty imaging equipment Providing equipment maintenance support on general medical equipment, as neededThis individual shall be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of the duties and have a strong mechanical ability to be able to teach and coach others. The FSS III- MR Nuc Med will ensure compliance with changes in regulations, policies, and procedures set by national and state regulatory bodies to the team. Responsibilities also include: Performing risk assessments Inventory control Addressing escalated customer issuesResponsible for ensuring that all scheduled work is accomplished on time, customer needs are met, and the day-to-day operations impacting revenue are communicated as needed. This individual contributes to department improvement and collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers. Maintains a department culture that is patient-focused and participates in teamwork, quality, integrity, and professional growth upholding the Prime Healthcare Mission and Vision at all times.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Associates degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent military education with minimum 20 years' experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment Certification repairing MR and Nuclear Medicine Systems Working knowledge of computers and networking Knowledge of associated tools and test equipment Demonstrated mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills in a timely manner Familiarity with the Healthcare Industry and understanding roles in various departments and users Support policies and procedures of Prime Healthcare Professional appearance and behavior Effective communication skills, sharing knowledge, proactively completing tasks, and cooperating in a team environment Maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record Travel to Prime Healthcare Hospitals in California and possible repair outside California as required #J-18808-Ljbffr More...
